For the past 15 years, Sarah has been
providing counselling to Children, Youth and their families in the Lower Mainland. Sarah comes
with a wealth of experience and training in working with Mental Health, Trauma, Eating
Disorders and family transitions and is proud to now call Nanaimo home.
Sarah is well versed in working with a range of mental health and behavioral diagnosis. She is a
family-based therapist, which means she strives to have parents involved in the therapeutic
process. Sarah is trained in both expressive arts and play therapy, which allows her to connect
with a range of young people who might not be interested in talk therapy.
As a therapist, Sarah believes strongly in her client’s innate ability to make positive change. She
believes people are doing their best and sometimes just need help getting through the storm.
Sarah combines her warmth and easy nature to connect quickly with clients. Her sense of
humour and wealth of knowledge fits well with most people.
In her personal life, Sarah is a mother and an outdoor enthusiast. Sarah knows first hand life
doesn’t always go the way things were planned, but she sees strengths and possibility through
Sarah feels honoured to walk alongside people through their journey, and looks forward to the
opportunity in meeting with you or your family.
